TWO persons landed in the hospital after they were reportedly hit by lightning past 6 p.m. Thursday, November 15, in Barangay Tulic in the southern Cebu town of Argao.
Janilyn Castanos Dunes, 35, and Novem Maloloy-on Monares, 15, were rushed to Isidro C. Kintanar Memorial Hospital in Argao for treatment.
The incident happened during a downpour.
Monares and Dunes ran inside the waiting shed by the roadside in Lutac when they were caught in the heavy rain. Later, lightning hit them.
The two did not suffer serious injuries and they only felt dizziness, according to the report by Argao Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office posted on its Facebook page. (KAL)
