Capitol warns food establishments against unauthorized transactions

THE Provincial Government of Negros Occidental is warning all food establishments in the province to be cautious of particular customers who are doing unauthorized transactions and using the name of the governor’s office to reserve and pay for their food.

There were recent complaints received by the Capitol coming from a few restaurants in Bacolod City who claimed to have received reservations from customers chargeable to the Governor’s Office.

Acting Provincial Administrator Lucille Gelvolea said that the provincial government will not tolerate such actions and would like to inform the restaurant owners that only personnel and staff of the Governor’s Office are authorized to transact business with food establishments. (PR)
