WHEN talking about spa and wellness in Davao City, Elysia Wellness Spa comes to mind for Dabawenyos.

This is because of its excellent and quality massage and spa services.

Recognizing the growing need of the public to access wellness and spa services, Elysia Wellness Spa opens today its sixth and newest branch– the Elysia Wellness Spa - Bo. Pampanga.

“With the intention of promoting wellness among Dabawenyos so we all remain productive and living healthily, we decided to extend our services from the southern to northern part of the city,” Cherry Al-ag, owner of Elysia, said adding the team is more than excited to bring their brand of service: Hands that heal, hearts that care.

The new branch is to better serve its clients in the northern part of the city. It can accommodate 14 clients at a time.

Elysia Wellness Spa now has a total of six branches - Bo. Pampanga; GoHotels Lanang; Obrero; Bangkal; Toril; and Eden Nature Park.

With more branches, the wellness spa center is strengthening its commitment with its mission which is “to provide a safe, healthy and relaxing massage and spa experience for individual clients and families in Davao City in clean and comfortable spaces offering services that are affordable and run by a competent Team of Managers and Therapists.”

“Our company’s plans and programs support this mission. We have not just been investing in putting up clean and decent spas, but equally important is our talent or people training,” Al-ag added.

Some of the best practices of this homegrown wellness spa center are: All Elysia Wellness Spa branches have Department of Health-licensed massage therapists; it is a member of Davao Wellness and Spa Association (DavWell) and the Davao Tourism Association (Data); it has organized its Learning and Development team, which they internally refer to as the Elysia Wellness Spa Academy.

“With the Department of Tourism and other accredited spas of the City Tourism Operations Office, Elysia Wellness Spa aims to introduce in the near future more services that are uniquely Filipino and specifically, creating the distinct Davao brand in the massage and spa services for the enjoyment of both the Dabawenyos and tourists visiting our city,” she emphasized.

The wellness spa center is set to open next month another branch in Ecoland, inside the soon-to-open Blue Lotus Hotel (near Jollibee Sandawa), ending 2018 with seven branches.
