WITH BAGUIO College of Technology, Cordillera Career Development College, and Saint Louis University pulling off huge victories in the second round, the race to the final four just gets wild.

Former two time champion CCDC Admirals boosted its final four appearances after securing two huge victories in the Baguio - Benguet Educational Athletic League (BBEAL) season 32.

The Admirals earlier shackled defending champion University of the Cordilleras Jaguars, 96–79, but was unable to sustain their momentum against the SLU Navigators, 95–71, then came back strong against Philippine Military Academy Cavaliers, 74–66.

The twin victory boosted the Admiral’s final four appearance this year with a 3–3 card at the end of the second round.

Two time runner up BCT Atoms on the other hand might have secured the second spot in the final four after subduing the Jaguars earlier this week, 94–90, although it fell to the Navigators Thursday evening.

Shawn Aquisay powered the erstwhile underdog Navigators, 92-86, at the Prince Bernard gym and book for themselves a possible final four appearance.

Aquisay finished with a game high 31 points while Jed Samera Barrientos added 15 for SLU which improved to 3-2.

The Atoms on the other hand leaned on Reynil Amargo with 15 markers as Marben Asilo added 14 who now tot a 5-2 card.

SLU could finish at least fourth after the 24 point victory over CCDC on Monday with the Admirals with a 3-3 card and will take on league leader University of Baguio Cardinals in their home court on Monday, November 19 at 4 p.m.

The Cardinals are riding on a 4–0 card and will only open their bid to formalize their entry as they are still squaring off against PMA as of Friday.

UB will close their campaign in the second round as they takes on the skidding UC Jaguars on November 21 at the UB Gym.

Win or lose against UC, the Cardinals will still claim the top spot in the final four and a twice to beat edge.
