FORMER ONE Championship featherweight world titlist Honorio Banario (13-7) returns to the Mall Of Asia Arena on November 23.

The Team Lakay veteran has been outstanding in the world’s largest martial arts organization since he made the move to lightweight, and he will face South Korea’s Dae Sung Park (8-2, 1 NC).

The last time Banario competed in Manila, he put on one of the most outstanding displays of his career in his win against Adrian Pang by decision at ONE: Heroes of Honor.

Banario will aim for another stirring performance against the ONE Warrior Series alumnus from MOB Training Center, who debuted on the main ONE roster with a dominant unanimous decision against Trestle Tan in July.

ONE: Conquest of Champions boasts a staggering number of international superstars who are ready to showcase their skills in mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and Muay Thai bouts.

In the headline match, ONE heavyweight world champion Brandon Vera (15-7, 1 NC) will defend his belt for the first time in almost two years against Italy’s Mauro Cerilli (12-2).

The co-feature will see fellow Team lakay and former lightweight champion Eduard Folayang (20-6) facing Evolve’s Amir Khan (11-3) for the vacant lightweight title.

Banario's five-bout winning streak came to an end when lost to Khan in September. After exchanging strikes in the opening minute, Banario was caught with a rear-naked choke that forced him to wave the white flag at the 4:34 mark of the first round.

The former featherweight king admitted he became very careless in his bout against the young martial artist from Singapore, which he believes that Folayang is unlikely to commit when he faces Khan.

"I became careless and overconfident in our fight, but I don't see Eduard making the same mistake. We all know that he is a complete fighter. He has this style that Khan will have a hard time dealing with," he said.
