A 40-year-old man was shot dead by a security guard in Sitio Culis, Barangay Quiot, Cebu City at 5 a.m. Sunday, November 18.
The fatality was identified as Ronie Radizon, a caretaker of Nacorda Land.
Radizon succumbed to a gunshot wound in the body.
Rolando Baha, the suspect, was arrested after the incident.
Investigation showed Baha and Radizon, a native of Kidlawan, Davao del Sur, were drinking liquor before the incident in the compound of Nacorda Land.
Baha's fellow security guard Ritchie Manila, who was inside his bunkhouse about three meters from the crime scene, later heard a gun burst.
Manila rushed outside and saw Baha holding a gun near the lifeless body of Radizon.
He then grappled with Baha with the help of other security guards. They arrested the suspect and turned him over to the police.
The victim was declared dead by the attending team from Cebu City Medical Services. (KAL)
