Robinsons Bacolod lights up Yuletide Tree

Robinsons Place Bacolod is celebrating the Yuletide Season this year with its tree lighting and gift giving event held Sunday, November 18, at their main atrium.

Gracing the event were Robinsons Place officials led by operations director for Visayas and Mindanao Joseph Sian, and Group Area Marketing manager for Negros and Mindanao Christine Tomas with Bacolod City Representative Greg Gasataya, First lady Elsa Leonardia, and Negros Occidental Provincial Planning and Development coordinator Ma. Lina Sanogal.

This year's mall decor and Christmas tree are filled with bright colors and glitters with golden reindeers as the main accent in a Bohemian style as seen with the vivacious jewel colors, radiating patterns and gleaming textures that characterize this eclectic design theme.

Sian said: "Since 1996, Robinsons light up for Christmas. Only in the past three years that we lighted up a Christmas tree. We have this ‘Wish Upon A Star’ project where we put a Christmas tree and choose indigents and asked them of their simple wishes. Our partners are the Rotarians where we help grant the wishes of the beneficiaries. At least 100 children benefit from this project every year. There were 16 kids who were given their early Christmas gifts during the lighting up of the Christmas tree yesterday. The children were very happy to receive gifts."
