Seda Centrio lights up for Christmas

SEDA Centrio set the Christmas mood with a splash of blue as the hotel welcomes the Yuletide season with its Christmas lighting ceremony last Friday, November 16.

With the theme: “Starry Night,” inspired by one of Vincent Van Gogh's well-known paintings which has the same name, Seda Centrio Hotel manager Armand Angeles, Councilor Jay Pascual, City Tourism Chairman Dorothy Pabayo and Miss Cagayan de Oro 2018 Mary Chris Suico led the lighting of the Christmas tree, located at the hotel lobby.

“This actually was quite personal to me because when I look at Vincent Van Gogh's painting Starry Night, I'm reminded of my time that I spent abroad alone. But whenever it’s Christmas, I never feel quite alone, I get to spend it with people that I work with. So it was quite a personal thing to me, to choose that theme,” Angeles, the Seda Centrio hotel manager, shared.

“Plus the colors. I love the blues, the yellows, [and] the silvers. It was also what we can do to make the hotel to look really nice and elegant at the same time,” he added.

Clients, media partners, bloggers and guests joined the festivities as they all wore dark blue in accordance to the hotel's theme.

Seda Hotel also announced its partnership with Smile Train, an international children's charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: clef lip and palate.

The hotel also announced its offers for those who want to spend Christmas and New Year in their hotel, they can avail room deals and event packages.
