BACOLOD City-based teams are up for the challenge as they see action in 2018’s Beach Volleyball Republic On Tour Men and Women’s divisions at the Rizal Boulevard in Dumaguete City.
The two-day event will feature Bacolod Team and University of St. La Salle in the men’s division alongside Dumaguete, University of Santo Tomas, Philippine Air Force, Foundation University, Tigers, National University and foreign teams from Russia and Japan.
On the other hand, seeing action in the women’s team are the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Bacolod Team, University of St. La Salle together with Philippine Air Force, Cebu, Dipolog, Banko Perlas, University of Santo Tomas, and foreign teams from Japan and Guam.
This sports undertaking is part of Dumaguete’s sports tourism program to further promote the city’s potential to host national and international sporting events.(HGD)
