JOHN Tamondong emerged champion in the Datba weekly tournament held Tuesday evening, November 20, at SM Lanang Premier Event Center in Davao City.
Tamondong, with a handicap of 22, garnered a total of 656 pinfalls after three games.
He bested Art Galendez who placed second by hitting 636 pinfalls in the tournament organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Mike Aquiatan, for his part, finished third in the nine-player bowlfest with 599.
Trailing behind were Paul Palacio (587), Jesrael Rule (585), Lito Ramajo (523), Romy Serrano (511) and Ronald Martin (508).
Tamondong received P600 while Galendez got P300. (MLSA )
