AUTHORITIES found on Thursday, November 22, in a condominium in Makati City a chopped-up body of a Chinese woman stuffed in four luggage bags.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Director Guillermo Eleazar identified the victim as Wang Yalei, a 26-year-old Chinese national who was temporarily living at The Lerato Residence Tower 1, in Malugay Street, Barangay Bel-air in Makati City.

Eleazar said the building security guard was notified by housekeeping that a nylon bag with bloodied clothes, tissues and a bloodied kitchen knife was disposed at the material recovery facility.

The security personnel then reviewed the closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footages in the area to find out who disposed the suspicious items.

After identifying the persons who disposed the items, the security personnel of the condominium inspected the said unit and discovered a bloodied luggage inside the toilet.

They held the other four Chinese nationals found inside the unit and reported the incident to police.

Arrested and charged with murder were Zhang Chuning, Zhang Cha Quan, Wang Xue and Zhang Yi Xi.

Eleazar said one of the arrested suspects admitted involvement in the killing, which was allegedly due to love triangle.

“Ito po ay isang nakakapanlumo at kahindikhindik na pangyayari na dahil naman sa inuman nila at pati doon sa, well selos din. Love triangle daw. Dalawang beses po yan na mayroong third party na babae,” he said.

“Noong pinasok po kasi ng police kasama ng gwardiya, nandoon yung maletang duguan tapos may tatlo pang bag, doon nilagay ‘yung mga iba’t-ibang parte ng katawan. Inimpake nila sa apat na mga bag (ang katawan) para ilabas. Umamin naman po din... Inamin din nila ‘yung kanilang ginawa,” he added. (SunStar Philippines)
