SEDA Hotels currently has no projects in the pipeline for Mindanao.

"We do not have yet in the pipeline properties for Mindanao but I think the company is exploring," Melissa Carlos, Seda Hotels Group Director of Sales and Marketing, said in an interview with SunStar Davao.

She said the hotel will always be one of the components of an Ayala Land mixed use development.

"We depend on the developments of Ayala Land in the cities. Nothing yet in the near future but there are projects they are considering," Carlos said.

In Mindanao there are two Seda Hotels properties -- the 150-room Seda Centrio that opened in 2012 in Cagayan de Oro City and the 186-room Seda Abreeza that opened in 2013 in Davao City.

Meanwhile, the company is set to open six more properties between 2019 and 2020. Three will be opening in 2019 and another three in 2020.

In 2019, Seda will be opening the Seda Residences Makati, Seda BGC Tower 2, and Seda Central Bloc.

Seda Resideces Makati, located in northern Ayala Avenue, will have 312 serviced residences ranging from studio to three-bedroom apartments. The Seda BGC Tower 2 will have 342 rooms and will include service residences. Seda Central Bloc is a 12-storey hotel in Cebu IT Park, Cebu City with 214 rooms that includes 58 serviced residences.

In 2020, Seda will start the operations of Seda Nuvali Tower 2, Seda Arca South, and Seda Bay Area. Seda Nuvali Tower 2 will add 206 rooms to the hotel and a 400-person capacity ballroom. Seda Arca South in Taguig will have 200 rooms and a Presidental Suite. Seda Bay Area in Aseana City, Parañaque will have 350 rooms and build on top of a mall.

Rosa, Laguna, Seda Atria in Iloilo City, Seda Vertis North in Quezon City, Seda Capitol Central in Bacolod City, Seda Ayala Center in Cebu City, and Seda Lio in El Nido, Palawan.
