Crocs FC-RMC Alumni stays unbeaten in 7s

THE Crocs Football Club (FC)-RMC Alumni retained its unbeaten slate after blanking Irrigators FC of Tagum City, 2-0, in the resumption of the 7s Football League Davao at the Azuela Cove Football Pitch in Lanang, Davao City, Sunday, November 25.

Jello Manuel and Oniel Padernal netted goals in the fourth and 13th minutes, respectively, to improve Crocs FC-RMC Alumni's winning streak to four games. Warren Ravanes was hailed man of the match.

Crocs FC-RMC Alumni, thus, led the current team standings with 12 points in the tournament presented by Anton del Rosario in partnership with Sparcorp and the Davao South-Regional Football Association.

Meanwhile, the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Davao United survived past Solido-JT's Manukan, 4-3.

Solido-JT's Manukan broke the ice early as Christian Loay blasted back-to-back goals in the second and third minutes to grab a 2-0 lead buy jade Valle (11th), Carlo Chavez (17th) and Owen Padernal (19th) countered to snatch a 3-2 edge for RMC Davao United.

However, Solido striker Arman Valencia scored in the 25th to equalize at 3-all. Chavez was named man of the match.

But Ferdenand Jremo's goal in the 48th saved the day for RMC Davao United to seal the match and share the third spot with Sultan FC in the team standings with a two-win and two-loss card. The latter won by default over Dolores FC.
