FOR the Yuletide season, four proposals for Christmas bazaar were forwarded to the La Trinidad Municipal Council.
“For the Christmas Bazaar, we have received four proposals forwarded in the Office from Berta Elwas, Maribel Chagwaten, Noela Mabitasan, group of Association of Public Market,” Councilor Guiller Galwan said.
The four proponents will be conducting the bazaar simultaneously at the public market parking area which will be divided equally. It is targeted to start on December 17.
Previously, a letter of intent to organize a trade fair and amusement at the public market area by proponent Bertha Elwas to Mayor Romeo Salda on November 11.
“Once again, I come to your good office to apply for a Christmas Bazaar with amusements like carousel, caterpillar etc., at least three amusements at the public market area for December 20 to January 20, 2019,” Elwas wrote.
The chief executive transmitted the proposal to the Sangguniang Bayan of La Trinidad.
Galwan added they were still considering the plans of the proponent to put up a carousel.
The terms and conditions are being prepared for the memorandum of agreement between the municipality and the proponents, which will include regulations as well as fees.
