MALACAÑANG has instructed National Housing Authority (NHA) general manager Marcelino Escalada Jr. to "immediately" take over the duties of sacked Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) secretary-general Falconi Millar.
Escalada was tasked to take over the functions of HUDCC secretary-general, while retaining his role as NGA general manager, according to a memorandum dated November 22 and inked by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea by order of President Rodrigo Duterte.
"In compliance with the instructions of the President, and to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of public service, you are hereby tasked to perform the functions of the Secretary General of HUDCC, in addition to your current functions, effective immediately," the memorandum, released by Palace just on Tuesday, November 27, read.
