Relief order of 5 Negrense cops revoked

THE relief order of three police chiefs and two other policemen in Negros Occidental was cancelled on the day of its supposed effectivity.

Senior Inspector Aireen Cordua, public information officer of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), said that Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil Jr., provincial director of Nocppo, who was at the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas headquarters in Iloilo City on Monday, November 26, informed her about the cancellation of the order. She, however, did not elaborate further on the reason.

Affected by the supposed reshuffling were Superintendent Glenn Provido, deputy provincial director for operations of Nocppo; Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez of Himamaylan City Police Station; Chief Inspector Rocky Desear of Cadiz City Police Station; and Chief Inspector Robert Mansueto of Sagay City Police Station.

Police Officer 3 Robert John Tarre of the provincial police headquarters also remained at the Nocppo headquarters in Bacolod City.
