Exec: SunStar Pampanga a morning staple

SUNSTAR Pampanga, a Pampanga-based newspaper covering Central Luzon which is celebrating its 23rd anniversary today, has become a morning staple for people living in the region.

Thus said Mabalacat City Administrator Rosano Paquia, who lauded the paper for its balanced and fair reporting.

"SunStar [Pampanga] has been a morning staple in the community because of its balanced reporting and up-to-date news reports. Every issue is being awaited by its wide readership to try to be abreast of important current events down to the sports page," the city official said.

"I admire the men and women behind the paper for their dedication and professionalism to their craft. Congratulations and more power," he added.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo for his part, expressed hopes that the paper maintains its credibility and strength.

"Keep strong and credible. I pray for your long stint on public information. You should maintain credibility in order to be strong. Be fair and objective," Garbo said.
