HERE in the Philippines, a woman has no rights; they are used and abused daily and with no care for what their feelings are. A man is only a man when he drinks, has children, smokes and a job is not necessary. he just lives at home.
Laws should be passed against men who fail to support children that they have fathered. Because we now have the technology that examines DNA, we can easily track these dead-beat dads to force them to support the children that they had fathered. The cause of the proliferation of homeless children or street children is the fathers’ lack of support for them.
Mothers can barely make ends meet so children are left to beg for money on the streets in order just to survive and get a little to eat. Men feel that they are more of a man if they father more children and they even brag about it.Some men that I know even will punch holes in condoms that they use just to get their girlfriends pregnant. Then they just leave the woman to get another woman pregnant again.
With proper laws in place, men will change their attitude about women because these will make them responsible for their actions and these can hurt their pocket book. Elsewhere in this world, if you refuse to support your child the government will throw you in jail as a dead-beat dad and force you to work, with the money earned given to support the children.
