LIGHTING up the holidays was the glistening Christmas Tree Lighting event ceremony at the lobby of Radisson Blu Cebu.
For this much-awaited occasion, “A Classical Christmas at the Blu” unveiled a shimmering and statuesque 32-foot tree with blue, teal and silver tinsel and baubles, adorned with a golden glittery star at the top of the spruce. Gorgeous Christmas wreaths surrounded the hotel lobby, plus a gingerbread house delighted anyone who came through the doors.
For the countdown to Christmas, welcoming remarks for the season were said by Radisson Blu Cebu’s hotel manager, Stephan Sieberg. These were followed by words from Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale, who wished everyone a very Merry Christmas! To enchant everyone present, guests were serenaded to Christmas musical performances by classical crossover vocal group Opus One, an all- male ensemble with members Fonzy Mendoza, Obel Alalong, Jos Jalbuena and Lorenzo Mendoza. The quartet was accompanied by the renowned Mandaue Children and Youth Choir, as well as the Cebu Philharmonic Orchestra—all directed by brand mbassador of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., Nestor Jardin.
At this magical time of the year, guests who took part in welcoming this holiday tradition came donned in fashionably formal attire as the invite stated, bringing in the holiday cheer even more so.
