FOUR persons were arrested in two separate drug bust in Negros Occidental Saturday, December 1.
In San Carlos City, three persons were arrested inside a pension house at Barangay Palampas for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
Police identified the suspects as John Ron Lucas, 24, from Barangay 5, a high-value target (HVT); Mary Joy Chiu, 24, from Barangay 2, an HVT and alleged member of Virtucio Drug group; and Rafael Tuhao, 18, from Barangay Rizal.
The police confiscated 23 sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P48, 000, drug paraphernalias, two cellular phones, a notebook with suspected drug transactions, pouch, P1, 400 in cash, coin purse, and the P1, 000 marked money.
Lucas also allegedly yielded a .38 caliber revolver, three live ammunition of the said firearm, and six live ammunition of 5.56mm.
All three suspects are detained in San Carlos City Police Station.
In Bacolod City, Ivan Tobongbanua was arrested at Barangay Singcang-Airport after police seized from him three sachets of suspected shabu worth P10, 000, the P500 marked money, drug paraphernalias, and P400 in cash.
Tobongbanua is currently detained at Police Station 8. (GYM)
