Alama: Kamikazee in Davao

MARK the date, December 15, 2018. One of the greatest rock acts will bring their show to Crocodile Park, Davao City.

KMKZ Live in Davao is brought to you by Bace Productions, a concert-organizing company founded by couple Angel Selorio Luy and Bonn Luy. Angel and Bonn had brought unforgettable rock concerts headlined by Parokya ni Edgar, Hale, Bamboo, and Ely Buendia to Davao City.

The Kamikazee concert is another much anticipated concert brought by Bace, which according to Bonn, wants to bring these great rock acts to be enjoyed by Dabawenyos. The event will be the second staging of their Musica E Vita event which was initially staged last year.

“We are bringing again the most sought after bands near to you...Hale, Urbandub, Franco, December Avenue, and Kamikazee. This will be a gathering of your favorite bands in a once in a lifetime concert event that you shouldn’t miss. Let us celebrate OPM music on December 15, 2018 at Davao crocodile park event grounds! Rock on Davao!” Angel Selorio Luy said.

Kamikaze consisting of Jay Contreras (vocals), Jomal Linao (lead guitar), Led Zeppelin Tuyay (rhythm guitars), Allan Burdeos (drums), and Jason Astete (bass guitar) are back after more than three years of hiatus.

The band, known for its hit songs such as Narda, Martyr Nyebera, and Huling Sayaw among many others, is also well-known for its high-octane live performances. And based on reviews and raves from their previous reunion concerts in different places of the country, this Davao concert will be one much-anticipated event for many Dabawenyo rockers. The City will be the last stop of their Tagpuan reunion tour.

Kamikazee will be joined by bands Franco, Urbandub, December Avenue, and Hale whose vocalist Champ Liu-Pio is a cousin of Bonn.

December Avenue is a five-member band known for their songs “Eroplanong Papel” “Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw” “Bulong” “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig”. They will reconnect with millenial fans making the December 15 event a concert for ‘all ages’

Davao musicians such as Pao Lofranco, Daybreak, and Zokomilk will also play at the concert.
