WHO says Christmas is only for kids? Kids-at-heart actually still marvel and get excited with treats for Christmas. Last November 27, the SunStar Davao team was more than happy to be visited by our friends from Krispy Kreme who brought with them their latest collection of Christmas donuts.
They brought six differently-styled and decorated donuts. The colorful, glittery, and creative designs made it difficult for us to pick which donut we would want to taste first. Everything looked yummy and appealing, not only to kids, but especially to us who love food and everything nice!
1. Santa
This holiday donut is dipped in white chocolate designed with red sanding sugar, white chocolate curls, vanilla kreme icing, red chocolate-coated candy & black button candies.
2. Holiday Glitz (Green)
This donut is dipped in carat white chocolate coating and colorful lime-flavored Glittergelli glaze, and designed with gold Dragees & ornament cap candy topper.
3. Holiday Glitz (Red)
Also dipped in carat white chocolate coating, this holiday donut is also dipped in strawberry-flavored Glittergelli glaze, and designed with gold Dragees & ornament cap candy topper as well.
4. North Star
This star-shaped donut is dipped in dark Ghirardelli dark chocolate designed with edible metallic silver and gold glitters.
5. Holiday Sprinkles
Using the original glazed donut of Krispy Kreme as base, this donut is dipped in chocolate icing topped off with holiday blend sprinkles.
6. Rudolph
This adorable donut is dipped in carat dark chocolate coating designed with Saltletz Brezel, round eye candies, eggnog cookie, and red chocolate coated candy.
The first wave of these holiday donuts was already released last November 16, 2018 and will be until the end of the year. This batch includes Peppermint Cake, Santa, North Star, and Holiday Glitz (both lime and strawberry).
The second wave started was released last December 1 until the end of the year. This includes the holiday donuts Holiday Sprinkles, Rudolph, Snowball, Holiday Bright, and Holly Tree.
