TO HONOR the birth of Jesus Christ and to give their residents the Christmas feel, Victorias City Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca along with other officials led the lighting of its Christmas exhibit at the public plaza Friday, December 7, which features the famous landmarks of the countries all over the world.

These include the Pyramid of Giza in Egypt by Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy by the Victorias City Water District, the Statue of Liberty in United States of America by Mellow Lights, the Great Wall of China by Giah Pure Water, the Sydney Opera House of Australia by Colegio de Santa Ana de Victorias, the Eiffel Tower of France by Victorias Milling Company, and the Filipinized Belen by Southlake Builders.

“I wish all families the joy and happiness. I pray that all of us will have food on our table. That all of us will forgive those who love us less so that Victorias and its people will wait for the glory of God Almighty,” the mayor said.

He also highlighted in his speech the significant progress and development of the city and the awards and accolades that they earned in the past years.

“This is meaningful to all of us because this is the result of all our hard work,” he added.
