NEGROS Occidental Acting Provincial Administrator Lucille Gelvolea said Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. ordered to report to the police or the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) the alleged fixer who collected some fees for a promised job at the Capitol once he or she is identified.
Gelvolea said that until this time, they don't know yet who was the person who allegedly got P50,000 from two complainants, at P25,000 each, for a promised job at the provincial government.
The two complainants, however, refused to reveal the name of the alleged fixer because the said person is their relative although they have the receipt of the money they sent to the alleged fixer through a money sending service provider.
Once proven that the alleged fixer is a Capitol employee, it would warrant a dismissal from service, Gelvolea said.
“Once proven, the governor wants the matter reported to the NBI or the police,” Gelvolea said.
The two victims personally filed their complaint at the Community Affairs Office of the Capitol. (TDE)
