HAVE you always wanted to try organic, vegan, and natural cosmetics and skincare products but cringe at the price? My love for safe and natural beauty products has led me to learn about Pink Bunny. It’s a proudly-Davao made brand that’s dedicated to creating safe and effective skincare products and makeup at a reasonable price. My verdict? Pink Bunny products are international quality but are sold at a local price.

For two weeks I tried some of Pink Bunny’s best sellers. These are the Cloud Foam Wash, Glow Collagen Gel, Tomato Serum, and Soulmatte Lip Cream. Despite having tried a lot of different brands in the past, both local and international, I was really impressed by Pink Bunny. Whatever is written on the packaging, you can trust that it will deliver.

Cloud Foam Wash – P340

Claim to fame: Whitening, Anti-Aging, Anti-Wrinkle, Anti-Pimple, Hypoallergenic

Verdict: It comes with a soft heart-shaped face scrub/massager that deeply cleanses and helps reveal brighter skin. I love how washing your face feels like a massage using the heart-shaped pump. Skin is also smoother after use.

Glow Collagen Gel – P240

Claim to fame: Gives instant glowing skin, helps maintain skin elasticity, reverses signs of aging, reduces appearance of skin blotches, conceals age spots and acne marks

Verdict: It gives lasting moisture to skin without being oily and makes skin look healthy and supple. Easily absorbed and effective!

Tomato Serum – P370

Claim to fame: contains tomato extract that shrinks pores, glycerin and bearberry extracts that help whiten skin, seaweed extract that helps firm skin, and collagen for anti-aging.

Verdict: My whiteheads and blackheads softened within three days of use, allowing me to remove them with gentle strokes using my fingers.

Soulmatte Lip Cream – P299

Claim to fame: Glides as gloss, sets as matte. Lightweight and long-lasting

Verdict: The best liquid lipstick I’ve tried so far. It lasts just as long as the popular international brand Colourpop but is very easy to remove. It’s also highly pigmented, lightweight, and non-drying. On my first try, I applied one coat in the morning and went on with my daily activities without retouching. Pink Bunny’s Soulmatte definitely passed the food and water test.

But one thing that really sets Pink Bunny apart from other brands is their honesty to their customers. Pink Bunny’s founder, Jessa Era Palmosa Calatrava in an interview said that they value honesty towards their clients, saying that they make it a point to disclose their products’ ingredients, and even advised budding entrepreneurs against “false advertising.”

“Our products are safe. That’s for sure. We disclose to clients whether our products are organic and natural or natural only. For us, being honest about it is important... Also, do not false advertise. Appreciate your own products first. Try them before selling them,” said Calatrava.

I also love how Jessa Calatrava --- who has been dubbed “Ms. Pink Bunny” by clients --- personally markets each product on social media. Her skin is indeed a testament of her own products’ quality. That way, even if you aren’t familiar with the brand, you will be able to dispel your doubts knowing that the seller herself uses them. From the cute packaging to each ingredient, you can tell that a lot of work and passion went behind Pink Bunny.

Pink Bunny products are available at the Luminous Ysobelle Shop at the 2nd floor of Abreeza Mall and online via Shopee. For updates, follow them on Instagram @pinkbunnymain.
