GIPATAWAG sa Office of the Special Prosecutor sa Office of the Ombudsman ang posible nga mga testigo sa kaso batok ni kanhi gobernador ug Kongresista Gwendolyn Garcia ug kaubanan kabahin sa kontrobersiyal nga pagpalit sa Balili property niadtong 2008.
Si Garcia nag-atubang og duha ka kasong anti-graft ug usa ka technical malversation sa Sandiganbayan nga nibasura sa iyang motion to dismiss sa mga kaso nga gipasaka batok niya.
Sa case conference nga nahitabo sa Lunes, Disyembre 10, sa buhatan sa Office of the Ombudsman for the Visayas, gikuhaan og judicial affidavit sa prosecutors sa OSP ang mga indibidwal nga dunay nahibaw-an o makatubag labot sa transaksyon sa pagpalit sa luna sa kagamhanan sa lalawigan sa Sugbo.
Apil sa gipatawag si Atty. Marino Martinquilla, kanhi provincial legal officer sa dihang si Garcia pa ang gobernador, Provincial Budget Officer Danilo Rodas, opisyal sa Land Registration Authority (Registry of Deeds) ug ang reklamante sa kaso nga si Cris Saavedra.
Tuyo sa case conference nga makahipos og dugang mga ebidensya ang prosekusyon batok ni Garcia nga ipresentar sa husay sa Sandiganbayan sa Enero 30 ug 31.
Si Martinquilla, nitug-an nga usa siya sa patestiguhon sa umaabot hearing sa Sandiganbayan labot sa pagpangayo sa Kapitolyo og P37.8 milyones nga refund sa gibayad niini sa pipila ka bahin sa yuta nga nalubog sa tubig sa dagat o bakhawan sa Barangay Tina-an, siyudad sa Naga.

“I will be testifying as a complainant...But the problem here is when I filed a case, I filed a case against everybody involved but here I’m just surprised why the Provincial Board was not included in the filing of the case.
