THE City Human Resources Management Office (CHRMO) of the City Government of San Fernando on Monday, December 10, was recognized as the first local government unit (LGU) to hold a Level 2 accreditation in all four human resource (HR) core systems of the Civil Service Commission Regional Office III (CSC).

The four HR core systems are recruitment, selection and placement, learning and development (training), performance management and rewards and recognition.

The accreditation is under CSC’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (Prime-HRM), an assessment system that covers all local and national government agencies.

The program promotes excellence in government agencies by evaluating their HR management competencies, systems, and practices.

Mayor Edwin Santiago congratulated the CHRMO and said that he is very proud of what the office has achieved.

“It’s really a blessing that we were recognized with the Level 2 accreditation. We assure all of you that the CHRMO gives their 100 percent in every service they make for the public. Because of this, CHRMO will be more dedicated in serving every Fernandino, because they need to be number one in our priority list,” Santiago added.

Also present in the ceremony were Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin, Councilor BJ Lagman, CSC-3 director Nelson Sarmiento, CSC-3 field office director Emily Reyes, City Administrator Engr. Fernando Limbitco, CHRMO Officer Rachelle Yusi, city government employees, and department heads.
