AS DAVAO City received donation from Nanning, China, Vice Mayor Bernard Al-ag said the city should also share its expertise on security and disaster preparedness for their improvement.

“As our sister city since 2007, this donation is a concrete manifestation of Nanning City’s commitment to help us improve our city. I am thankful to Nanning City Government for this bus donation,” Al-ag said in an online interview on Tuesday, December 11.

“I am also looking forward to share our expertise in local governance in the area of security and disaster preparedness to Nanning City,” he said, adding that specific areas are the Public Safety Command Center (PSSCC), 911 emergency response and the anti-terrorism program by the Task Force Davao (TFD), among others.

Al-ag also said the existing sisterhood agreement between two cities include helping and cooperating with each other in the development of the two cities.

“The advantages of sisterhood with other cities are the seamless exchanges of best practices in local governance and the improved bilateral relations with other cities,” he said.
