IF PEOPLE are really interested and sincere in living a life of goodness, they just have to study the words of Jesus. Many people don’t like to read long stories but they may take an exception to the words of Jesus that are few in the New Testament. God the Father has commanded that we should listen to Jesus.
He said, “The truth will set you free.” What kind of freedom is achieved when we listen to Jesus’s words? Surely, freedom from deception, among others.
When we deceive, we become hypocrites and get confused. The only solution is to listen only to Jesus’s truths. Because he is the most important character in the Bible, recommended by God the Father himself to be listened to and obeyed.
We will be free from all evils if we listen to and obey Jesus’s teachings.
“So Jesus said to those who believed him, ‘If you obey my teaching you are really my disciples, you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) (Chito E. Germino of Paknaan, Mandaue City)
