Titans hosting Mustangs in Victorias for Game 1 today

DEFENDING champion Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias Titans will host STI-West Negros University today, December 12, for their first game in the best-of-three finals of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports Cultural Educational Association Season 38 Men's basketball at the Victorias City Coliseum.

Carl Magbanua and Jeffrey Manday churned out 24 and 18 points, respectively, on Monday, December 10, to lead the Titans in a lopsided semi-final win over then reigning runner-up University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Rams, 82-56, played at the STI-West Negros University gym.

In the other semi-final match, STI-WNU Mustangs dominated La Consolacion College-Bacolod Blue Panthers to remain undefeated entering the finals, 84-75.

Tournament Commissioner Anthony Carlo Agustin said Game 2 will be on Friday, December 14.

The battle for third place between UNO-R and LCC-B will be Thursday afternoon, December 13, at the STI-WNU gym.
