Solon bares P433-M worth of schools in Masantol town

IN AN aim to further improve the quality of education here, Fourth District Representative Juan Pablo “Rimpy” Bondoc is set to deliver almost P500-million worth of projects to Masantol town’s education sector.

Bondoc disclosed that a total of P433-million worth of classrooms will be constructed in different public elementary and high schools all over Masantol starting early 2019.

At least 10 public high school namely Bagang, Bebe Matua, Bulacus, Puti, San Isidro Matua, Sapang Kawayan, Nigui, Sua, Sta. Cruz, Sagrada and San Pedro elementary schools, and Sapang Kawayan High School will be receiving two-storey, four classrooms worth P12-million each, Bondoc disclosed.

Elementary schools in Barangays Malauli, Alauli, Sagrada, and Masantol and Malauli high schools will each get two-storey, six classroom buildings amounting to P14 million, while Bebe Anac will be a recipient of a three-storey, 15-classroom building with a budget of P36 million, and Balibago Elementary School with a two-storey, 12-classroom building with a budget of P28 million.

With a bigger need for decent and innovative learning facility, Palimpe Elementary School will receive one two-storey, six-classroom building and two-storey, four classrooms-building amounting to a total of P26 million, while Caingin Elementary School will have two units of two-storey, six-classroom buildings amounting to P28 million.

A P52-million project consisting of two units of two storeys, six classrooms and two units of two-storey, four classroom-buildings will soon also be constructed in the premises of Sta. Lucia Elementary School.

Aside from the building, the local government will also provide the materials needed inside the classroom for the complete learning of the students as a local counterpart, Mayor Danilo Guintu assured students and parents.

Bondoc said that the continuous downloading of projects for schools is aimed at providing conducive learning facilities for the children, and a better workplace for the teachers.

“As your representative in the national government, together with my partner in the provincial government Board Member Pol Balingit, and Mayor Danilo Guintu in the local government, we will continue to provide quality projects that will benefit the community until the next generation,” Bondoc said.
