OVER 3,050 employees of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental will receive P50,000 bonus in December.
This, after the Provincial Board (PB) approved the request of Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. allowing the grant of the Incentive Benefit for Exemplary Service to be released in December.
Second District Board Member Salvador Escalante Jr., chairman of the PB committee on appropriations, budget, and finance, said there was a unanimous approval on the said incentive.
This will cost the provincial government P150 million which will be sourced from its savings from the Personal Services worth P550 million.
The employees who attended the session were all applauding when their bonus was approved by the provincial board.
Also approved during the session is the P65 million Supplemental Budget No. 4 of the Hospital Operations Department and another P65 million Supplemental Budget No. 13 of the General Fund.
