P3.4-M shabu confiscated in Tagbilaran drug bust

A SUSPECTED pusher yielded P3.4 million worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a drug bust in Purok 4, Barangay Dao, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

Macario Zamora Niluag II, 40, was caught in a drug bust at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, December 13.

He had been listed as a high value target before his arrest.

During the operation, police seized 500 grams of shabu.

The drug bust was initiated by the operatives of RegionaI Intelligence Division-Regional Special Operations Group (Bohol Island Team), Provincial Intelligence Brnach-Special Operations Group/Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit 5 led by Senior Inspector Jojit Mananquil.

Niluag will be facing complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Selling shabu is a non-bailable offense.
