2 fall in anti-drug operations

TWO people were arrested hours apart in anti-drug operations in Zamboanga City, the police said.

Senior Inspector Shellamie Chang, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) information officer, identified the arrested suspects as Aldrian Andalay, 25, and Albert Siason, 35.

Chang said Andalay was arrested in a drug bust at 8:48 p.m. Thursday, December 13 at Sitio Tibak in Divisoria village.

She said confiscated from the suspect were some P1,200 worth of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) packed in four heat-sealed plastic sachets and P300 marked money.

Chang said Siason was arrested in another drug bust at 10:15 p.m. on same day at Purok 7 in Upper Calarian village.

She said recovered from him were some P1,200 worth of suspected shabu packed in two heat-sealed plastic sachets and P200 marked money.
