DMSF Nursing grad tops licensure exam

THE Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF) Nursing graduate was the top 4 in the November 2018 Nursing Licensure exam.

“It's such a pride and I discovered being a topnotcher is really a multi-dimensional achievement,” fourth placer Yasierah Khalil Agalin said in an interview with SunStar Davao Saturday, December 15.

Agalin placed fourth spot with 86.20 percent rating tied up with a student from Trinity University of Asia in Quezon City.

Agalin added that the achievement being a topnotcher is very different from the other achievement that she has attained since she was also a cum laude in their batch. She said that she enjoyed her reviewing period because of their instructors who also helped them to stay focused in their studies.

“The thanks will be initially to God, to Allah because I know myself and I know that I am not smart and there is a possibility that I cannot make it,” Agalin said who is also grateful for the hardwork of her parents.

Before she was an Educational Benefit System Unit Scholar, her parents would apply for loans to sustain her study.

She added she wanted to be a doctor to help the people in the country since she noticed that in the hospital that she had been before are lacking of health professionals. She said that she is also urging the other medical practitioners to serve the fellow Filipinos in the hospital instead of going overseas.
