THE Davao City Water District advised its concessionaires of a water service interruption on December 19, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., affecting some areas served by Riverside Water Supply System to give way to service improvement works.
Affected areas are the road from junction of Davao-Bukidnon Road to Upper Riverside, Upper Riverside, Purok 6, Babad Compound, Sitio Balentong, and Purok 12 Sitio Cebohle.
DCWD needs to temporarily shut off water supply in the affected areas to give way to the tapping of the newly installed pipeline to the existing pipeline for the mainline improvement at Purok 6-6A, Brgy. Riverside in Calinan. Once completed, the project will allow for accommodation of additional service connections.
On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Edwin V. Regalado asked for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers and advises them to store enough water prior to the schedule. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
