SLU, UB split top honors in BBEAL archery

LOREN Chloe Balaoing scored 272 points while her teammates follow suit as University of Baguio (UB) hit two gold medals including four silvers to bag the overall title in the archery tournament of the Baguio - Benguet Educational Athletic League (BBEAL).

Baloing snatched the individual title while her teammate Shanya Dangla bagged silver in the competition as Philippine Military Academy's (PMA) Kathy Rose Vilbar salvaged a bronze medal.

University of Baguio also snatched a gold medal in the mixed team event besting SLU who settled for silver while PMA was good for bronze.

Saint Louis University (SLU) lorded the team event winning the gold in both men and women's division with the trio of Irvin Elijah Dait, Jose Raniel Dimaculangan, and Wilson Wong scoring 736 points to clinch the top spot.

University of the Cordilleras settled for one gold and one bronze courtesy of James Seg-ed who topped the men's individual contest while PMA had four bronze medals to salvaged fourth place. (Roderick Osis)
