THIS Christmas season, the City Government of Davao has made its Pasko Fiesta celebration friendlier to families and friends.

On November 30, 2018, it opened its Pasko Fiesta Salo-salo at the Sta. Ana Pier. The event features delicious offerings from local food brands and entertainment from local bands.

The Salo-Salo is a must visit for families with its relaxing ambiance and colorful lights. There are a lot of photo opportunities one can do here.

The event has 30 stalls with merchants selling a variety of food family and friends can enjoy. Whether it is the popular nachos, a refreshing glass of juice, or the amusing Dragon's Breath snack of Dragon's Den, there is food for everyone. Some food stalls here also offer Muslim-friendly food for our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Once you get your food, you can relax at one of the large tents. Here you can also catch up with friends or simply enjoy each other's company.

One of the highlights of the Pasko Fiest Salo-Salo is its light tunnel. The Christmas tunnel has 5,400 meters of LED lights that will look great as a backdrop in photos. During the opening one can observe how Dabawenyos excitedly took selfies and photos of one another inside the tunnel.

Aside from the light tunnel and the food, family and friends will be serenaded and entertained by local artists and bands during the course of Salo-Salo.

The Christmas season is not only about giving of gifts but it also serves as a reminder that we have to spend quality time with the people we love.

Salo-Salo, a new addition to the Pasko Fiesta activities, is just the right place where families and friends can spend some quality time with one another.

Pasko Fiesta Salo-Salo is being held every Friday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Sta. Ana Pier, Davao City.
