Capitol turns over P4.3-M projects for Isabela

THE Provincial Government of Negros Occidental turned over P4.3 million worth of check to the municipality of Isabela to fund the different projects in the town.

Executive Assistant to the Governor Angel Verdeflor and Fifth District Board Member Renato Malabor Jr. led the turnover rites held at the Provincial Capitol on Tuesday, December 18.

The beneficiaries were Barangays 7, 8, Amin, Banogbanog, Cabcab, Cansalongon, Guintubhan, Limalima, Makilignit, Maytubig, Riverside, Sebucawan, and San Agustin.

The projects include repair and improvement of the water system, hog dispersal project, repair and improvement of water hand pump, agricultural inputs and purchase of farm equipment, and flood control project.

The checks were received by the barangay captains and authorized representatives of the respective barangays.

Isabela Mayor Joselito Malabor was also present at the turnover ceremony. (PR)
