THE Provincial Board of Negros Occidental approved on Wednesday, December 19, the request of Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. to release the additional bonus amounting to P30,000 for each Capitol employees.
Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said part of the P30,000 additional bonus was the P25,000 from the Excell Award received by Negros Occidental as Best Performing Province in Western Visayas and P5,000 as the Performance Enhancement Incentives of the employees.
He said the Capitol employees received a total of P80,000 bonus, P50,000 of which was already released to the employees since last week while the P30,000 will be released in January.
"We are lucky here in the province to receive such a huge additional bonus which is still subject to tax," Lacson said. (TDE)
