GIKANAYON sa Tabangan Atong Reformist Aron Naa’y Asenseo (Tara Na!), usa ka community-based rehabilitation and aftercare program (CBRAP) sa siyudad sa Davao aron pagtabang sa mga drug surrenderees nga duna lay 4,154 ang mi-enrol sa programa, hinungdan nga giawhag ang suporta sa pipila ka mga barangay nga mosalmot sa krusada.
Matud ni Concepcion Domag sa CBRAP nga sukad Hulyo 2018, ang Philippine National Police (PNP) mihatag kaniya og ihap nga 11,249 kinsa boluntaryong misurender, apan 4,154 kanila nagpatabang kanila ug mi-enrol sa programa.
Ang Tara Na CBRAP gipasiugdahan sa Davao City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (Cadac). Kini gidesinyo sa paghatag og suporta alang sa rehabilitasyon sa mga gisuspetsahan nga drug users o pushers kinsa sayo niini mitahan ngadto sa mga awtoridad sa siyudad.
Kini usa ka komprehensibong programa nga naghanyag og nagkadaiyang serbisyo gikan "recovery, livelihood and employment."
Dugang ni Domag nga ang programa dunay tulo ka hugna sa interbensiyon.
Ang unang hugna mao ang "intensive care" nga molungtad og unom ka bulan samtang ang ikaduhang hugna mao ang "aftercare" program nga molungtad hangtud 18 ka bulan ug ang ikatulong hugna mao ang "continuum of care".
Alang sa unang hugna, mitala ang Cadac og 784 reformists aron nga ikompleto ang Phase 1. Human niini nga hugna, sila i-refer ngadto sa sunod nga hugna nga mao ang aftercare program.
Kini nga mga indibiduwal nagagikan sa 26 ka barangay lang sa 182 sa Davao City, nagpasabot, duna pay mga barangay kinsa wala magpadala sa ilang mga reformist ang-ang sa unang hugna.
"There are still quite a number of barangays who have not yet started providing interventions to their surrenderers listed in their barangays. There are only around 4,000 who enrolled, the remaining 6,000 [surrenderers] are still in the community so what are we doing with them? We are still continuing to encourage them to enroll to the program," tin-aw niya.
Gitug-an niya nga ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) nagsulti kanila nga kon di sila ma-enrol sa rehabilitation program, sila i-categorized na usab "watchlist."
"We are now encouraging the barangay captains to really put in initiatives of bring those surrenderers in their barangays to our program to avail the interventions which are given free and in partnerships with the different line agencies of the government as well as the private sectors such the higher education institutions who are adopting some of the communities," dugang pa niya.
