Bautista: Dough not

WAG KA. Do not mess with me for this. Yes, dough.

Pizza it is. Amare la Cusina, the best for this. It just works with the wood fire brick oven. First, I really tried how good it was, was when I went to El Nido. Spent my birthday in a pizza place there. It was good!

Imagine away from home and I get to have my pizza too. Soon after I will learn that my ading Edmark Bustos will have trained there and bring it here in Baguio.

Recently in Batanes after a long hike up the rolling hills and the light house in Basco and the beautiful sunset we head down to a pizza hut and there we had good pizza in a hut. When in Sagada, try the pizza and pretzel pizza. Try everything. It is found at the backdoor of Masferré.

Trips to Italy were somewhat disappointing, I would go to Rome and Venice for pizza and end up with flat bread with ketchup and cheese melt. I guess I'm just one of the tourists. But then when we went the last time to really immerse ourselves, it was so different when Juan stays for more than a month in Italy. Sicilian pizza so good, the pistachio pizza is something I never had before, must try.

In Canada, it's COSTCO. Yep. I dunno but shopping is just secondary to the pizza there. Funny but any pizza delivery in the States just feels right. Having boxes of it at any home with some friends and beers, perfect. When I find myself in some far away land other than McDonald's a sure bet is Pizza Hut, it is Halal too. Surely there is one.

When I was young I was happy with Fiesta Pizza for P20. Adrien's rolled pizza was a favorite date fare near SLU. Magoo's in Shoppers Lane was a it for the many. Then Shakey's was a pizza parlor then. I miss those times. Not the same today. The banjo and piano players were a part of it.

Gone. Garlic and Cheese thin crust, that's it.

In Manila, I will have Dominos delivered at home but when in the mall it will be Brooklyn's. I just love their Labuyo Cerveza Sauce. I will admit that today I just love S & R. I just do. How can Juan go wrong with 109 pesos for a big slice of pizza and a drink. Except that they removed their chopped onions and pickles, it just works with their pizza, trust me.

Volante is always reliable for me for 24 hours. Sardines and Mushroom it is. Baguio Country Club Pizza is also something to try and always comforting. A new fave is Anchorwheel. Try it. We first encountered it because we live in Tuding in Itogon where they are. Downside is that it is closed on Sunday's when we are always there. Picarre and Cafe Adrianna's along Outlook Drive make good pizzas too. Please try the wood fired oven pizzas in Newtown Plaza it won't disappoint. Over there Juan can order pizza with sushi and crispy pata all at once, of course with beers.

When in San Juan, and surely Juan goes there, find Amare la Cusina there, another pair of adings just paired up with Edmark for there. It just makes for perfect beach life. Just that and cold beers as the sun sets. What a perfect way to end any day.

There's Angelo's, D' Marks, Sbarro and many more. But I heard that Li'l Caesar's will do a comeback in the PH. Papa John's might, in Baguio. S & R is coming soon I hear.

In all of these, it is just the dough, do not mess with the dough. All else is just extra. Perfection is in the dough for me. Once it is perfected then that is it.

Oh and if you didn't know it was buy one take one for every Juan at Pizza Hut for their Lava in tribute to the queen from her lava gown. A one day thing. It was December 18 only. Sorry guys if you didn't know. I know. Sarap.
