THE City Government of Davao, through the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO), extended the releasing of the salary and incentives of some 12,000 non-plantilla and 3,000 plantilla workers on Saturday.

CTO head Erwin Alparaque said they started releasing the salary and the P10,000 incentives to non-plantilla workers such as the traffic enforcers assigned at the City Transportation and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO), garbage collectors, and street cleaners under the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), and the workers of Central 911 and the Public Safety and Security Command Center last December 14.

On December 15, disbursing officers and paymasters released the salary, incentives and the P25,000 from the Collective Negotiation Agreement to regular employees.

“Ang gihimo namo ana is we prepared it earlier ang release kay kung sa mando pa ni Mayor, dapat madawat na gyud sa mga empleyado sa Christmas (We have prepared the release documents earlier because the Mayor asked us to give it before Christmas Day),” Alparaque said.

Alparaque said they have received good feedback in terms of smooth flow of processing of the release despite the number of personnel that they need to accommodate.

“Gipaningkamutan sa buhatan sa CTO nga kung mahimo mahuman namo karong adlwa para makapahulay pud ang mga paymasters (We tried our best to finish the release early so that our paymasters could also have their holidays as well),” he added.
