IT HAS been a tradition for two decades now that a new Pantone color is introduced every year. For 2019, it will be the living coral.
Pantone is a corporation that releases a color forecast annually. This is based on worldwide influences in the fields of art, fashion, entertainment, and even beauty. The color named for a particular year serves as the inspiration of designers and companies in creating new products.
As 2019 draws nearer, we can look at the different living coral fashion pieces to inspire our upcoming look. This color appears as a mix between pink and orange. Based on how I see it, I would say that it is more of salmon pink. It is so cool to the eyes and the fabric in this color seems very soft and flowy even without touching it.
According to the company, living coral is “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” It further noted that the color represents the desire to find “authentic and immersive experiences that enable connection and intimacy."
With 2019 approaching, you may have the living coral pieces with the following ensembles forecasted by some designers:
Head scarf
Wearing of a head scarf will be a trend this 2019. It does not only exude your inner fashionista since it also helps you protect your hair from the extreme heat of the sun. One of the famous celebrities who wears a head wrap pretty well is Beyoncé. Try donning her look this summer while enjoying the beach or simply going outdoors.
Denims
Denims will still be part of the fashion staples in the coming year. Whether you are a woman or a man, you surely have at least one denim jacket or a pair of denim pants in your closet. How about getting a pair with a touch of living coral in it? It is going to be cool!
If you cannot find a denim pair without any living coral on it, you may still put a touch of it on your jacket or pants. You may sew a living coral-colored patch on it. Actually, you can wear a living coral shirt under your jacket or pair it with your pants. I assure you, you will love the combination!
Transparent and mesh
Cover ups made of transparent cloth or mesh are said to be a fashionable piece this 2019. If you cannot find a living color one, you can wear it, instead, on top of a tank top inspired by the 2019 Pantone color of the year.
Asymmetrical
Dare to bare one of your sexy shoulders with an asymmetrical blouse or dress. Nevertheless, make sure that the design you are picking is appropriate for the occasion you are attending. Well, you could look over-dressed if you would decide to wear the design with the long back when going to the mall. Probably, you could opt for the regular length blouse or a crop top, instead.
In the meantime, if you are not yet ready to sashay your living color outfit at the start of 2019, you can still be “in” with the latest trend with the help of your nail technician. You can visit your favorite beauty salon and get a living color manicure and pedicure.
