A CONSTRUCTION worker stabbed his live-in partner after he caught her together with her suspected lover on Christmas Day, December 25.
The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) reported that the incident happened around 12 a.m. on Christmas Day in Guisao, about 18 kilometers east of Zamboanga City.
En-en Ambabang, 29, sustained two stab wounds and was hospitalized. She was stabbed by Roldan Albino, 31, her live-in partner, who voluntarily surrendered after the incident.
Investigation showed that Albino went home unannounced to surprise his live-in partner.
It was Albino who was caught by surprise when he saw his live-in partner in a compromising situation with another man.
Police said Albino grabbed a knife and stabbed Ambabang twice. Ambabang’s alleged lover managed to escape unscathed.
