TO OWN a Louis Vuitton bag is to carry a piece of history. A brand that started out in the 1800s—specializing in custom design boxes and, later, trunks—has expanded to a myriad of products, and remains as one of the most coveted brands in the world.

Last Dec. 6 to 9, The Sky Lounge at Calyx Residences became the destination for Cebu’s well-heeled set and fans of the brand, as there stood the “Louis Vuitton Apartment,” a private trunk show.

Located at Cebu Business Park, the four-day trunk show featured a varied selection of signature men’s and women’s gift items from shoes, ready-to-wear pieces, and accessories like watches and jewelry.

Also on display was a piece of decor object under the brand’s Objets Nomades collection, a line created by the Objets Nomades designers. Called “Cocoon” by the Campana Brothers, it was the first time that it was showcased in the Philippines, specifically in Cebu City.

Apart from that, its trunks and high-end and exotic pieces, which were inspired by travel, were on display. Its fragrances were also featured. For the women, the collection shows nine olfactory emotions while men’s collection pays homage to the adventurer seeking for self-revelation.
