What I oddly remember this season is when I received a gift given by a female classmate way back in elementary. I was dismayed at first because it was wrapped in a matchstick box. And I was bullied by my classmates who received larger gifts. When I opened it along the way, it contained a two-peso paper bill and a bubble gum. I was overjoyed because that bill before can buy a lot.

In a friendly cockfight last season, I have sensed that my rooster appears to be weak and running or “dehado” against a robust “liyamado” rooster of a contender.
