PAREHO nga nipadayag sa ilang pag-uyon si Mandaue City Mayor Luigi Quisumbing ug Bise-Mayor Carlo Fortuna sa plano sa Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año, paghingan sa mga narcopolitician.

Matud sa duha ka dagko nga opisyal sa syudad sa Mandaue nga ang kurapsyon ug iligal nga drugas ang parehong nag-unang rason kon ngano daghang kinabuhi sa mga Pilipino ang nangadaot.
Gitug-an ni Fortuna nga ang paghingalan kon si kinsa kining mga narcopolitician nga anaa sa listahan sa DILG, dako kini nga makatabang aron magiyahan ang mga botante diha sa ilang pagpili sa umaabot nga May 2019 elections.
"Yes it should be revealed just as we reveal those who are involved in corruption. People should know who are the narcopoliticians because the voters should be able to make the right choice and protect our country against them," saysay ni Fortuna pinaagi sa text message ngadto sa Superbalita Cebu.
"I fully support the move of Secretary Año. We have seen the hands of narcopoliticians at work here in recent events here in Mandaue. In fact, some politicians were called already by the CIDG (Criminal Investigation and Detection Group) to explain their alleged involvement and connections in the drug trade. Even in our City Council, efforts were made to cover up the details of a Parojinog linked operation," ang panahom usab ni mayor Quisumbing.
