WITH over a dozen food tenants, a number of local clothing lines, and good bands entertaining the guests during the nights of December 14 to16, indeed Felcris Centralé's Mercado de Centrale was a fun night of food, shopping, and entertainment for friends and family.

In Davao City, food festivals started to be a thing a few years ago. Annually, Felcris Centrale creates a different theme for their Mercado de Centrale food festival. This 2018, they decided for the Merry Frozen Festival which depicts a white Christmas with a touch of the famous Disney animated movie Frozen, perfect for kids and kids at heart.

Food exhibitors present during the duration of the festival were Hungry Ape, The Cuilleree, Colasas Barbecue, Wing Boss, Perch, Tuna Choice, Tuna Express, Manzoku, Maxi Mango, Black Hog, Samantha’s Kitchen, Zen Sushi, Botchog’s Lechon Belly, Arce Dairy, Takoen, Master Sisig, and Tanduay.

The great array of food choices made it all the more exciting for the guest to have a palatable adventure in the food festival. Not only does it allow them good gastronomic experience, it also encourages them to support local businesses and to get to know more homegrown entrepreneurs as well.

While enjoying their palate and tummy with the great food and drinks, they were entertained by the bands Negative Four, Centrifuge Wailing, and Utopia.

Mercado de Centrale has become the trademark of Felcris Centrale and is staged annually with the goal of providing a roofed venue for homegrown exhibitors for them to showcase their products.

The food festival was the perfect way to start one's Christmas holidays with good food, good music, and good company of friends and loved ones.
