Pampanga's new top cop is ex-regional intelligence officer

CAMP OLIVAS -- It is like a homecoming for the new officer-in-charge of the Pampanga Provincial Police Office.

Police Senior Superintendent Jean Salvador Fajardo, a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Class Kaagapay of 1996 who replaced Police Senior Superintendent Nicolas Salvador as the new over-all supervisor of the Pampanga Police Command, was also the former chief of police of the City of San Fernando Police Station and Lubao Municipal Station.

Aside from her impressive background as chief of police, Fajardo has remarkable accomplishments during her stint as the Police Regional Office III's intelligence chief including the quick resolution of the sensational cases such as Fr. Nilo and Mayor Bote murder cases.

Meanwhile, Salvador was assigned to a higher post in another police regional office. (PR)
